Paperwork and setting up a business behind the scenes involves a good deal of time and patience, that's for sure.<br /><br />Today I also purchased a couple books on home and internet business. I also spied a good tip that it's important to post a video advertisement on youtube.com to drive traffic to your store. Great idea! I've named it Erinworld Enterprises.<br /><br />I will be selling unusual and interesting hand made jewellery, specifically necklaces, chokers, and rings, in the following types of styles: steampunk, art deco, egyptian, neo victorian, and cyberpunk. Many of my pieces - <em>all of which are hand crafted by me</em> - will contain recycled parts such as old pre-1970 solid metal vintage watch movements. This recycling/resuse aspect certainly fits well with my environmentally minded personality. Since I also have a penchant for quality and heft, many of my designs, particularly the egyptian, steampunk, and deco ones, will be made out of solid brass parts - not plated, not plastic!<br /><br />Over the past few weeks, and&nbsp;currently, I'm&nbsp;going through the long process of getting ready behind the scenes to launch my business.&nbsp; As a first-time entrepreneur, there's certainly a lot to learn and do! I just got approved for a business&nbsp;bank account with HSBC,&nbsp;recently registered as&nbsp;a vendor with the government,&nbsp;ordered a lot of supplies,&nbsp;and am designing and building my&nbsp;inventory of jewelry.<br /><br />I'm currently focused most on&nbsp;designing my webpage storefront behind the scenes. A preliminary preview page, including photos of some designs,&nbsp;will be up at erinworld.com in time for Valentine's Day. On April 3rd&nbsp;(Good Friday!) I'll be&nbsp;activating links to my online store, so that shopping can officially begin!<br /><br />I sincerely hope you'll enjoy&nbsp;the unique items I'll be offering.
